Smiley Guy

Imagine how wonderful it would be to walk past this happy little guy every day. His smile never fades. Rain or shine, he’s there — legs dangling, spirit light, reminding you that joy doesn’t have to be complicated.

The Atlantic Ocean made him. In the Gulf of Maine along the southwestern shore of Nova Scotia. The waves rolled these stones until they became something more — a face, a feeling, a friend. Now here he is, swinging in the breeze, offering a simple hello to anyone who takes a moment to look.

Metaphysically, basalt is the stone of grounding and transformation — born of fire, tempered by time, and softened by water. It carries the story of change, endurance, and quiet strength. Maybe that’s why his smile feels so real.
